Today 5B had a discussion on Question 2(b) of the March 2011 examination. As promised, I put up the suggested answers here so that my pupils can read whenever they want to at home.
The suggested answers are as follows:
1. There are many children at the playground.
2. A boy is licking an ice-cream.
3. There are two boys on the see-saw.
4. There are three girls playing chase at the playground.
5. The playground is clean.
These are the suggested answers for question 1-3 for paper two. I am open to any answers however I am bound to the guidelines set by the Examination Board.
Question 1
For this question, you have to write at least 2 compound sentences and 3 simple sentences with correct grammar. Observing this guideline will enable you to obtain high mark.The sentences written must be able to stand on their own thus ruling out the use of pronoun.
1. There are many people at the community centre.
2. A woman is cleaning the drain with a broom.
3. A woman is watering the flowers.
4. There are two men painting the grill of the community centre.
5. A man is trimming the tree with a saw.
