Remember Perky Piung’s Email Adventure? I blogged about Part 6 previously, which introduced my email-writing module for Year 5 learners. You can read the original post here: [Insert link to Part 6 blog post].

Now, it’s time for the next chapter!

Part 7 is a continuation of the same writing adventure, featuring eight units based on familiar topics from the Year 5 English syllabus. Unlike Part 6, which has two sections for each unit, Part 7 has one section per unit.

The module retains the same three-task format:

• Task 1: Fully Guided — complete the email using a word box.

• Task 2: Partially Guided — complete the email with greater independence.

• Task 3: Independent — write an email of about 60–80 words using information from a visual.

With exam-style visuals, a consistent A4 landscape layout and our cheerful Perky Piung mascot, the aim is to help learners practise writing emails for different purposes while gradually building their confidence.

One unit, three tasks, and plenty of opportunities to write! ✏️
