Prior to the revision week, all the three year four classes went through a month of reading a short text entitled:

The Selfish Giant

The duration of the reading class took a longer route following to the suggestions provided by the Jemaah Nazir's officers.

The steps suggested are to ease the understanding of the pupils on the vocabulary and enable them to visualize the story.

1. Teacher read aloud
2. Introduction of vocabulary
a) one paragraph per day
b) find the meaning of words

3. Rearrange the paragraphs to make up the story
4. Drawing of the Giant and children
5. Role play
a) devide one paragraph for one group
6. Setup of "The Selfish Giant" corner in the classroom
