Paper 2 Question 1

Suggested simple sentences:

1. There are many people by the river.
2. There is a woman sitting on the mat.
3. There is a boy holding a plastic bag.
4. There are two boys swimming in the river.
5. There are two fishes in a plastic bag.

In writing these sentences, one may choose to use the words given to assist in writing.
The followings use the words in the sentences.

1. There are many people at Gua Kelam.
2. Visitors are having picnic by the river.
3. There are buns and sandwiches on the plates.
4. The boy caught two fish.
5. The boys swam in the river.

Notice the sentence structure are all of simple sentences and it incorporate several categories in this checklist:

Sample answer:

I would choose Jiro Hiroshi because I like him very much. He is thirteen years old and is about the same age as me. He lives in Japan. I like Japanese people. He likes playing computer games and reading. Through the internet, we can play games together or suggest books for reading. I think I have made a good choice.
 


Paper 2 Question 3

Sample answer:

This is Ahmad. Ahmad is a good boy. One day, he was ill. He looked as pale as a ghost. His mother, Puan Ros told him not to go to school.

Puan Rosnah took Ahmad to a clinic. There were many sick people waiting for their turn. Having waited for 30 minutes, the nurse called Ahmad in for examination.

The doctor examined Ahmad thoroughly. He advised Ahmad to take his medicine and drink a lot of water when he is home.

Later, Puan Rosnah helped to take care of Ahmad. She prepared porridge and monitor Ahmad medicine intake. After some rest, Ahmad was feeling better. He is now in the perfect bill of health!
