Objectives
By the end of a month (20 school days), pupils will be able to participate in a simple conversation in the classroom.

Success Criteria
Pupils will be able to talk with teacher and their peers about at least four activities they do in the morning.

The activities
Step 1
·       Teacher shows pictures on morning routines to the pupils for pre-listening.
·       While listening, teacher shows the picture cards of the routine.
·       Post listening, pupils do gestures while listening to the song.
·       Song will be played 3 times.

Step 2
·       The next day, teacher repeats step 1 with addition.
·       Pupils will sing the routines. For example, wake up, brush teeth
·       Song will be played twice.

Step 3
·       The next day, pupils will gestures and sing the routine with addition.
·       Pupils will sing the routines in full sentence. For example, I wash my face
·       Song will be played twice.

Step 4
·       The next two days, teacher coaxes pupils into singing in full.
·       Pupils gestures to the song.
·       Song will be played twice.




Step 5
·       In the second week,
·       Teacher allows pupils to sing and gestures on their own
·       Song will be played once
·       Teacher draws pupils’ attention on the routine sentence structure. Picture cards will be used in this activity. For example: In the morning, I wake up. I brush my teeth. I eat breakfast. I go to school.
·       Pupils will repeat the sentence in a normal voice.

Step 6
·       In the third week,
·       Teacher allows pupils to sing and gestures on their own
·       Song will be played once
·       In pair, pupils will practice the short presentation using the picture cards for cues.
·       Each pupil will get a turn at practicing.

Step 7
·       In the fourth week,
·       Teacher allows pupils to sing and gestures on their own
·       Song will be played once
·       In a group of 5, pupils will present to their group members. Each member will get a turn.

Time Frame
Time for everyday review is 10 minutes during class and lasted for a month (20 school days).

Assessment
Teacher organizes a presentation day, with pupils presenting to the class.
Teacher will grade the pupils in accuracy.
Pupils must be able to talk about 4 activities they do in the morning.
